Founding Partner & Project Manager

Meet Morgan Smith – the founder of Trulink Construction and a lifelong builder with a commitment to excellence and a passion for doing things right.

With over 20 years of experience in the construction industry and a strong entrepreneurial spirit, I established Trulink with three foundational values: integrity, collaboration, and a relentless dedication to quality. From the very beginning, my vision has been straightforward: deliver outstanding craftsmanship while making the entire process clear, collaborative, and stress-free for our clients. At Trulink, teamwork isn’t just a principle; it’s at the heart of everything we do.

Today, I’m proud to lead a team of professionals who share my passion for precision and craftsmanship. We’re detail-driven, client-focused, and deeply committed to every project, whether it’s starting from the ground up, renovating a space, or managing complex timelines and diverse trades. We approach each job with integrity, precision, and a genuine commitment to making every detail count.

When I’m not on the job site, you’ll find me spending time with my family, staying active outdoors, or planning the next exciting challenge.

Melissa

Founder & Design Director

Meet Melissa – the heart and soul behind Graceful Interior Design Inc.

I’ve always believed that great design goes beyond aesthetics, it creates energy, tells a story, and enhances everyday living. After graduating with honours from Sheridan College’s Interior Design program in 2008, I deepened my understanding of architecture and art through immersive studies in Italy. That experience shaped my design philosophy: a thoughtful blend of timeless elegance, natural textures, and meaningful functionality.

With over sixteen years in the design industry, I’ve had the privilege of working on everything from luxury estates to cozy farmhouses and character-rich heritage homes. Whether it’s a new build, a renovation, or an addition, I approach each project with intention, creativity, and care.

In addition to my design expertise, I’m thrilled to share that Graceful Interior Design has an exclusive partnership with Trulink Construction, a collaboration that allows us to seamlessly combine stunning design with exceptional craftsmanship. Together, we create spaces that are not only beautiful but built to last.

Today, I live on my husband’s family farm with our two children, where we’ve lovingly restored our own century-old red brick farmhouse – a dream project that deeply reflects my style and values. When I’m not designing, you’ll find me embracing the rhythm of farm life, practicing yoga or Pilates, and cooking homemade meals with my family.

I’m passionate about creating graceful, grounded spaces designed for wellness, and I can’t wait to bring that intention into your home.

Sydney

Design & Project Coordinator

Meet Sydney – your trusted partner for all things coordination and the behind-the-scenes magic that makes every project at Trulink Construction run smoothly.

With a passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces, I thrive on ensuring that every step of the process flows effortlessly. My diverse background in behavior sciences and fashion business has given me a unique ability to combine creativity with precision. This blend allows me to navigate the complexities of project management, design coordination, and client relations, all while maintaining a keen understanding of both human behavior and style.

At Trulink, I wear many hats – from sourcing fixtures and finishes to managing client communications, logistics, and accounts. My role is to bridge the gap between the design vision and its day-to-day execution, ensuring that each project not only comes to life but does so seamlessly.

Outside of work, I’m a big believer in exploration and connection. Whether I’m traveling, trying out new recipes in my newly renovated kitchen, or enjoying quality time with my husband and daughter, I’m always seeking inspiration in the everyday.

Supporting great design and flawless project execution is my passion, and I can’t wait to help turn your vision into reality.

Dylan

Lead Carpenter | Founding Member

Dylan is a highly skilled carpenter with over 11 years of hands-on experience in residential construction. As a founding member of Trulink Construction, he’s been instrumental in shaping the company’s reputation for precision, integrity, and quality craftsmanship.

Born and raised in Burlington, Dylan brings a strong work ethic and a “do it right” attitude to every project he takes on. From framing to fine finishing, his attention to detail and pride in his work are evident in every space he helps build.

Clients and teammates alike value Dylan’s steady presence on site, his deep knowledge of the trade, and his commitment to delivering results that stand the test of time.

When he’s not on the job, Dylan enjoys spending time outdoors, tackling DIY projects, and heading north to unwind at the cottage.

Lucas

Carpenter

Lucas is a talented carpenter with 5 years of experience in both residential and commercial construction. As one of the newest additions to the Trulink Construction team, he has quickly made a name for himself through his strong work ethic, sharp attention to detail, and commitment to continuous growth in the trade.

Originally from Stoney Creek, Lucas brings passion, integrity, and a hands-on, solution-focused mindset to every project. Whether he’s working on structural framing or detailed finish work, he approaches each task with pride and professionalism.

Lucas thrives in a team environment and is always eager to learn, improve, and contribute to Trulink’s standard of excellence.

Outside of work, Lucas enjoys mountain biking and exploring new trails—always up for a challenge both on and off the job site.
